Subsidised Training for Students

Final year undergrads and all postgrads can now apply to attend Digital Innovation’s CPD Workshops for just £10.

Digital Innovation’s newly launched CPD workshops are specifically designed to meet the needs of current professionals. But we’re setting aside one place per course for students interested in developing their skills.

The offer is open to final year undergraduates and all full time postgraduate students from any university in Greater Manchester.

Sharing knowledge

Our hope is that these subsidised places will give students invaluable insight into the issues facing professionals in practice, as well as demonstrating the value of continued professional development beyond formal education. At the same time, those in work can really benefit from the perspective of students and the often groundbreaking research they’re doing.

How to apply

Send us an email from your university email address stating the course you’re on. Your email should:

  • Arrive no less than three weeks before the workshop delivery date
  • Explain, in no more than 150 words, why you feel the workshop will be beneficial to you
  • Demonstrate prior interest in the topic
  • Explain how you feel the workshop’s learning outcomes will impact your career aspirations

The winning student will be notified two weeks before course delivery and a nominal fee of £10 will be charged. Courses are usually charged at £295.
